Gangnam Station is among my most favorite kbbq spots in KTown because of their prime location and choice of meats. They are centrally located by Wilshire / Western station and have great views of The Wiltern and this famous intersection. It was extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon, especially during lunch. My group and I politely advocated to have us seated next to each other, so we had to wait. The front staff had me listed on their waitlist, with real time text notifications. The estimated wait time was approximately 45 minutes. After approximately 30 minutes of exploring the nearby stores on Wilshire / Western, I truly appreciated that they called me to re-confirm that my tables were ready. For the meats in the kitchen, we chose the thinly sliced pork belly and brisket. I also dig their choices at the meat bar including teriyaki chicken, hawaiian beef bulgogi, beef bulgogi and garlic chicken. They also offer an extensive selection of banchan (sides) including japchae, kimchi & sliced radish. Despite the wait, Gangnam station is definitely my go-to kbbq place in KTown.

From the wait list, exterior, service and food quality, myself and my group was very pleased and will be sure to return again!!! The selection of soju and beer was good and the salad bar/self serve had so many options. Make sure to get extra rice paper with the spicy sauce. We had alot of the chadol which is beef brisket and the spicy beef brisket was bomb. My favourite was the soon tofu soup and the marinaded chicken I think was honey mustard? Anyways all of it was delicious and for the price you can't go wrong!!!! My only complaint which they cannot control is the amount of junkies right outside. I can protect myself but some people I wouldn't recommend coming from the street and just go thru elevator and parking. There were a group outside of shake shack with machetes and other security guy was chasing another couple stealing items.

Rating: 8/10 A good solid KBBQ place in Ktown! Parking was easy (and free with validation from the restaurant for 2 hours) in the parking structure with the entrance from S Oxford. Bf and I got there at around 6:45PM on a Saturday night with only a 5 minute wait. Ambiance is casual with loud music playing and lots of people around. Food and service was good but we had to flag down the servers whenever we needed anything or wanted to order. There's also a meat, veggies, banchan and sauce sidebar to help yourself to in between orders. I particularly liked the kimchi which was perfectly flavored and complemented the meat with each bite. We ordered from Style A Menu and tried all of the non-marinated meats and a few marinated meats. Our favorite meat of the meal was actually the thick pork belly from the meat buffet. Our least favorite was the Carribean Prime Beef Brisket, which had a smoky flavored sauce on top which was not to my taste. The complementary tofu soup was actually the best tofu soup I've ever had at an AYCE, and I've had a lot of them before! It was hearty, hot, full of flavor, and had a little eggy rich texture. So delicious!!! Also, this wasn't at the sidebar but we asked for king oyster mushrooms to cook with our meat since I love them at KBBQ. Make sure to ask your server for them if you like them too! Overall, solid place for KBBQ, not amazing in quality but definitely can't go wrong. I recommend you come try it out and see for yourself!

Went on a Saturday night with a group of 8. We waited about an hour and half. Time went by sorta fast bc there are stores you can visit around the area. It's ayce kbarbs with a self serve ban chan & marinated meats. Other meats are served to you. Overall, meat quality was standard. The beef belly was best. The Montreal seasoned steak was not very good. Overall experience, quick and good service. Meat is standard nothing special but it was still good. I like that you can get your own sides and as much as you want. I do wish they had steamed egg.

first time getting KBBQ in LA, and they did not disappoint! The meat is very delicious and savory. I was shocked from the meat bar, me and my party got plenty of it. The waiters and waitresses are very quick pace. It took me a bit to flag them down since I tend to be introverted but regardless they were attentive and patient. The ambience is very vibrant. Everyone is having a great time, makes you feel at home. Definitely will come by again when I'm in LA.

The food is AMAZING Really like the variety and the self serve bar is great. Pretty great bang for your buck. The only difficulty is getting a waiter attention. Can be pretty tough to call them over to order from the kitchen. Other than that it's great, make sure to park in the S Oxford parking lot they validate for 2 hours.

Visited Gangnam Station Korean BBQ for the second time and it did not disappoint! We were greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away despite being so busy. We ordered from their GangNam STYLE AYCE_Semi Buffet Style [A]Station $29.99 - All Day Menu which included 34 items. We had Premium Beef Brisket, Premium Wagyu Beef Belly, Corn Cheese, Prime Galbi Sal, Premium Spicy Korean Beef & Pork Belly from kitchen orders and Beef Bulgogi, Marinated Pork Belly & Spicy Pork Belly from the Meat Bar. For this menu, I like how you can order so many quality meats for such a great price. We were super full after ordering all these meats and we would come back again. Favorites: Premium Spicy Korean Beef, Premium Beef Brisket & Marinated Pork Belly Tip--Make sure to have someone at the table while you go to the Meat bar because we accidentally got our table taken by another party because ours wasn't occupied. Also, If you haven't been here yet you can get 2 hour FREE parking in their structure!
